How do they work?
Each bike has a 250W motor that is powered by a lithium polymer battery and is capable of up to 60 miles under pedal assistance. If you don’t fancy pedalling at all, you can use the throttle, which will allow you to go for about 25 miles with no effort on your part at all.
The bikes have a simple controller that allows you to select three levels of pedal assistance – low, medium and high. Pedal assistance means that you still pedal, but the electric motor helps you along. It’s a bit like having the wind behind you giving you a nice push!

How old do you have to be?
You have to be at least 14 years of age.
How fast can they go?
Electric bikes can travel up to 15.5mph when the motor is being used.
If you want to just pedal them, they will go as fast as your legs will take you!
Do you have to wear a helmet?
No, but we provide helmets for free of charge if you want to wear one.
Are they fun?
YES! They’re the best fun you’ll have on two wheels!
